In an odd coincidence, two Rail News articles today. First:

Massachusetts Refuses Liability Shield in CSX Deal. Basically CSX wanted Massachusetts to accept liability for any accidents, including those caused by CSX. Florida recently agreed to similar terms.

Later tonight, I saw this interesting one:

Injuries reported as freight car collides with commuter train. Where else? Mass. A CSX freight car that rolled about two miles where it collided with the commuter rail locomotive.
