Today is the anniversary of the event that finally got the Japanese to surrender and end World War II.



62 years ago, the world changed. Never again would the battle between good and evil be so black and white.

But today is also a day that makes hippies cry. Partially because of the use of the Atomic bomb and partially because its 12 years since Jerry Garcia died.
